Stiles is sure this was a terrible idea. Absolutely terrible. He's shaking as he sits, waiting, in the man's office. After everything that happened...he can't do this. He should leave. No - he isn leaving. He's going to walk out that door and -

But Stiles is frozen by fear. His nails are digging into his palm, jaw clenched. Move. Get up. Get out before he shows up. I'm sorry, Dr. Hale, I couldn't make it. Yeah. Sounds plausible.

It was a Wrong Place, Wrong Time type of thing. Actually, it was the Wrong Drink. Worst part was, it wasn't even meant for him. But when the guy figured out he'd roofie'd the wrong kid, well - might as well get something out of it, right? And for some sick reason, that made him feel worse, that he wasn't the intended target. That he was some kind of second class, even for a sick fuck like that. From there, it was all downhill.

So he's stuck in that chair, dreading the moment his new therapist opened the door.

With a slow nod of his head, Peter's gaze lingers on Stiles' face.

"If I told you to drink right now, would you do it?" he asks in a low voice.

[totallynotrobin]

"Drink?" Stiles squeaks quietly at the change in demeanor. But some part of him is quietly cowering into submission, yes.

[burnedwolf]

"I'm not telling you to drink. But I'm asking if you would do it?" Peter mutters, his eyes sharp on Stiles.

[totallynotrobin]

"P-probably," Stiles stutters.

[burnedwolf]

"Why?" the doctor inquires, scribbling into his notes. "You're not thirsty and I'm not threatening you."

[totallynotrobin]

"I-I don't know." Stiles shrinks in his seat. "I'm weak."

[burnedwolf]

Peter doesn't say anything, he's just reading a few of his notes. Then he looks up again.

"What about if I told you to take your clothes off?" Peter asks.

[totallynotrobin]

"I don't want to." Stiles swallows hard. But if Peter were to push the issue...honestly, he probably would. Struggling made it worse.

Peter is just testing how 'weak' Stiles exactly is, or how weak he thinks he is. He doesn't want to really order him or hurt him in any other way, but sometimes shock can wake a person up.

"Would you tell me that?" Peter mutters quietly.

[totallynotrobin]

"I just did." Stiles is curling in on himself, closing his eyes and trying to breath.

[burnedwolf]

"Good." Peter nods with a soft sigh. "Do you need a moment?" his voice is quiet, because right now it's the only thing he might provide comfort for Stiles.

[totallynotrobin]

"Y-yeah." He shivers, trying to shake off too-vivid memories, the panic beginning to consume him.

[burnedwolf]

Peter frowns a little, letting Stiles try to work it out before he speaks.

"I didn't want to scare you, you know." he starts. "I wanted to prove you're not in fact weak."

[totallynotrobin]

"I am." Stiles refutes softly, peeling himself up from the chair. "I - I would. If you made me."

[burnedwolf]

"Everyone would if they make them do it, Stiles." Peter retorts with a raised eyebrow. "It doesn't mean the person is weak. Far from it."

[totallynotrobin]

"No I mean - " Stiles sighs and ducks his head. "It wouldn't take much."

[burnedwolf]

"I see." Peter starts. "Would it have been like that before he hurt you?"

[totallynotrobin]

"No." Stiles mutters, twisting his fingers together.

[burnedwolf]

"What do you think why did you change this way after the incident?" Peter asks, his gaze dropping on Stiles' hands.

[totallynotrobin]

"It was worse when I fought." Stiles could rub his knuckles raw doing that.

[burnedwolf]

With a small sigh, Peter falls silent again. He wants to help this boy, he wants to know how he was before all this hell.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

[totallynotrobin]

"I don't know. Do I have to?"

[burnedwolf]

"Not if you don't want to. We're at the very beginning of your treatment so it's fine for now if you tell me as much as you're comfortable with." Peter answers with a small smile. "Feeling a bit better yet?"

[totallynotrobin]

"Yeah." The smile helps a little, and Stiles relaxes slowly. "O don't know. It was awful, it was dark."

[burnedwolf]

Peter nods, still with a smile.

"Good." he nods reassuringly. "Of course it was awful Stiles. You've been assaulted and hurt in a delicate way." he adds quietly.
