Stiles is sure this was a terrible idea. Absolutely terrible. He's shaking as he sits, waiting, in the man's office. After everything that happened...he can't do this. He should leave. No - he isn leaving. He's going to walk out that door and -

But Stiles is frozen by fear. His nails are digging into his palm, jaw clenched. Move. Get up. Get out before he shows up. I'm sorry, Dr. Hale, I couldn't make it. Yeah. Sounds plausible.

It was a Wrong Place, Wrong Time type of thing. Actually, it was the Wrong Drink. Worst part was, it wasn't even meant for him. But when the guy figured out he'd roofie'd the wrong kid, well - might as well get something out of it, right? And for some sick reason, that made him feel worse, that he wasn't the intended target. That he was some kind of second class, even for a sick fuck like that. From there, it was all downhill.

So he's stuck in that chair, dreading the moment his new therapist opened the door.

Stiles glances up at Peter, a little nervous, but doesn't try to move away. "Um - there was, ah, a little traffic."

"So you drove here?" Peter asks with a smile as he sits down. "Is it your car?"

[totallynotrobin]

"Yes. I have a jeep." Stiles smiles softly. "My baby."

[burnedwolf]

"She sounds lovely." Peter smiles, tilting his head to the side. Stiles' expression is cute, he wonders, and it's a good thing there are still things in his life that makes him smile like that. "Did you get it from your father?"

"Yeah. I mean, he passed her down to me from my mom. Had her fixed up."

[burnedwolf]

"Oh, she must be a special one then." Peter smiles a bit more. He read in Stiles' file about his mother. So he knows how precious that jeep could be. "Can we start today's session, Stiles?"

"She was." Stiles says quietly. But she isn't why he's here, so he's grateful for the subject change. "Of course."

[burnedwolf]

"Good." Peter nods, taking his pen a notes. "How was your week? I already know you did your homework, which is great."

[totallynotrobin]

"It was alright. A bit of a struggle, but that's the norm with me."

[burnedwolf]

"We always struggle with something Stiles. Otherwise we would never get anything done." Peter nods a little. "You went to school, right?"

[totallynotrobin]

"A few days this week. Not for long, though."

[burnedwolf]

"At least you went." Peter said reassuringly. "Next week your homework will be to go every day. Can you do that for me?" he asks.

[totallynotrobin]

"Do I have to stay the whole day?" Stiles asks nervously.

[burnedwolf]

"I'd like it, yes." Peter nods, eying Stiles. "But it's not necessary. If you feel too overwhelmed you can leave, but I'd like you to go back to your old routine and don't skip school."

[totallynotrobin]

"Yeah, well," Stiles sighs. "I wish that too."

[burnedwolf]

Peter sighs a little, smiling and looking down.

"Would you like to tell me anything that came up this week? Any thought, or feeling, or just something you want to talk about."

[totallynotrobin]

"Well," Stiles tries to think. "You already know about the panic attack."

[burnedwolf]

"Yes I do. But we handled that well, didn't we?" Peter smiles a little. "Anything else you'd like to mention?"

[totallynotrobin]

"Not really." Stiles admits, tilting his head. "Is there anything you want to know?"

[burnedwolf]

Peter smiles, hoping Stiles really has nothing to say and not just keeping it in.

"Well then, I actually wanted to ask you about the incident again, Stiles. Can we do that?"

[totallynotrobin]

"Alright," Stiles agrees, settling down in his chair.

[burnedwolf]

Peter licks his lips and waits a little before he speaks.

"I'd like to ask what happened after." he starts with a sigh. Still not about he incident, but only what happened after. How Stiles got home, who found him, Peter needs to know.

[totallynotrobin]

"I…well I…stayed where I was, for a while." Stiles starts slowly. It's supposed to be cathartic, saying it all aloud. Right? "And then I…got in my jeep."

[burnedwolf]

"Something like that." Peter answers with a slight nod. "You were alone then? And how long did you stay?" he asks quietly.

"He left me there alone," Stiles confirms, deadly soft. "An hour, maybe."
