Stiles is sure this was a terrible idea. Absolutely terrible. He's shaking as he sits, waiting, in the man's office. After everything that happened...he can't do this. He should leave. No - he isn leaving. He's going to walk out that door and -

But Stiles is frozen by fear. His nails are digging into his palm, jaw clenched. Move. Get up. Get out before he shows up. I'm sorry, Dr. Hale, I couldn't make it. Yeah. Sounds plausible.

It was a Wrong Place, Wrong Time type of thing. Actually, it was the Wrong Drink. Worst part was, it wasn't even meant for him. But when the guy figured out he'd roofie'd the wrong kid, well - might as well get something out of it, right? And for some sick reason, that made him feel worse, that he wasn't the intended target. That he was some kind of second class, even for a sick fuck like that. From there, it was all downhill.

So he's stuck in that chair, dreading the moment his new therapist opened the door.

"Yeah, I know." Stiles smiles softly. That's why he's here.

"Uh, kind of. My dad never knew I was...yeah. I mean, at least here it's pretty much accepted easily."

"Good. I'm glad you're clear about that." Peter nods, smiling too.

"I noticed, yes. I met so little people from here who had problems with their sexuality indeed, but I needed to ask." Peter explained. "And your father still doesn't know? Or you just think he doesn't know?"

Peter sighed, because apparently there are more issues here he has to address. Though he should focus on the physical well being of his client first. Which means he has to get Stiles to go to school again.

"Oh, Stiles." he smiles a little. "Do you have anyone you trust right now?"

"No." Stiles admits, shrugging a little. "I have Scott. But he's…he doesn't get it."

"Maybe if you would explain it to him?" Peter tries, tilting his head a little.

"I can't." Stiles shakes his head. "It's too much.

"What's too much about it?" Peter asks. "What Scott doesn't get?"

"Yeah. I can't explain it to him." He doesn't have the patience or the willpower anymore.

"Did you try before?" Peter asks, taking yet another note.

[totallynotrobin]

"No. It's too - monumental, and he's Scott."

[burnedwolf]

"Too monumental? What do you mean by thay?" Peter frowns.

[totallynotrobin]

"It's too much for me, okay? I can't do it. It's taking eveythig I have just to sit here."

The doctor nods understanding.

"It's a good thing you came here." he starts. "I will try my best to help you, but maybe your family and friends could also support you if you let them."

Stiles doesn't seem convinced on that account, but he nods slowly anyway. "...what are you going to do?"

[burnedwolf]

"Well..." Peter sighs and looks over his notes. "I think it's important for you to first open up to the people close to you. Also I'll try to help you handle your fear of crowds and touch the beginning. Just simple things. Because with more help you can heal better."

"Okay," It sounds like a good place to start to Stiles. Managable.

"Alright." Peter nods and slowly puts down his notes on the table. "First we should get you used to other people's physical closeness. So I'm going to ask you to come and sit on the chair next to mine." he says, patting the armrest of mentioned chair.

Stiles nods and stands, looking uncertain for a moment before he moves over to sit down next to Peter.

Peter smiles reassuring at Stiles and nods at him again as he's looking at him.

"Feeling alright?" he asks.

[totallynotrobin]

"…yeah. Yeah I'm fine."

[burnedwolf]

Peter nods again.

"You're doing good." he tells Stiles quietly. "I'd like us to have our sessions sitting this close. Alright?"

"…Alright." Stiles is a little nervous, but it's nothing he can't handle.

[burnedwolf]

"It's not a big deal, right?" Peter starts softly. "Did you touch anyone since then?"

[totallynotrobin]

"…no, it isn't." Stiles admits slowly. "Not…not really."
