Sex Therapist AU
Stiles is sure this was a terrible idea. Absolutely terrible. He's shaking as he sits, waiting, in the man's office. After everything that happened...he can't do this. He should leave. No - he isn leaving. He's going to walk out that door and -
But Stiles is frozen by fear. His nails are digging into his palm, jaw clenched. Move. Get up. Get out before he shows up. I'm sorry, Dr. Hale, I couldn't make it. Yeah. Sounds plausible.
It was a Wrong Place, Wrong Time type of thing. Actually, it was the Wrong Drink. Worst part was, it wasn't even meant for him. But when the guy figured out he'd roofie'd the wrong kid, well - might as well get something out of it, right? And for some sick reason, that made him feel worse, that he wasn't the intended target. That he was some kind of second class, even for a sick fuck like that. From there, it was all downhill.
So he's stuck in that chair, dreading the moment his new therapist opened the door.

"Here are all my number, if you need my help in anything before we meet next week just call me anything. Alright?"
no subject
"Alright," Stiles accepts the card, smiling weakly. "I'll be here, I swear.'

Stiles stands and starts for the door. He can do this. He can face another week.

((ooc: Maybe he calls him with a mini freakout and then the next session?))

The phone call is panicked around 1:30 in the afternoon. Stiles is hiding out in a bathroom stall to make it. He was trying to think of someone to call to stop himself from passing out, so. Peter it was.
no subject
Thankfully Peter is on lunch break so he can take the call. Though he doesn't recognize the number just yet.
"Peter Hale's phone. Can I help you?" he mutters around his bite of food.
no subject
"D-Dr. Hale? It's - this is - um - this is Stiles."
no subject
"Stiles, hey." Peter starts, swallowing his bite. He notes the panicked tone of the boy. "Something happened?" he asks, leaning back in his chair.
no subject
"Y-yeah I - sorry I'm calling - I - I just started - um, having a panic attack." Stiles tries to explain. "I didn't - know who else to call."
no subject
"Alright, Stiles. It's fine, you'll be fine." Peter nods, speaking slowly. "Are you alone, are there people around?"
no subject
"I'm alone now," Stiles says quietly, huddling close with the phone.
no subject
"Good. And where are you, is it safe?" Peter inquires softly, trying to calm Stiles like that too.
no subject
"I'm in a bathroom," Stiles admits.
no subject
"In school?" Peter asks. "Wash your face a little, it will get better. Then tell me what happened, alright?"
no subject
"Okay," Stiles says gently, and he can be heard working up the nerves to peek out of the stall. "…it wasn't a big deal. The hallway was crowded and I kept getting shoved - "
no subject
"It's a big deal, Stiles. It's natural to get overwhelmed. It's fine." Peter assures him. "Now breathe and just listen to my voice. Aside that though did you have a good day?"
no subject
It's kind of nice to have someone cut through the lies he tells himself about how he should be over this, and Stiles takes his advice, clutching the phone. "No. Sort of. There were too many people."
no subject
"Obviously." Peter chuckles a little. "But I'm glad you went to school today. Did you meet Scott?"
no subject
"No." Stiles admits. "I've been avoiding him. He can't help himself. He'll bug me about why I'm - like this."
no subject
Peter sighs. He can understand Stiles' friend of course, but he also knows how hard it could be on Stiles.
"You know he's just worried about you." he remarks. "He might be able to help you in ways I can't."
no subject
"I know that." Stiles assures. "…no, I don't think so." What could Scott do?
no subject
"Did you do your homework yet?" Peter asks on a lighter tone.
