Stiles is sure this was a terrible idea. Absolutely terrible. He's shaking as he sits, waiting, in the man's office. After everything that happened...he can't do this. He should leave. No - he isn leaving. He's going to walk out that door and -

But Stiles is frozen by fear. His nails are digging into his palm, jaw clenched. Move. Get up. Get out before he shows up. I'm sorry, Dr. Hale, I couldn't make it. Yeah. Sounds plausible.

It was a Wrong Place, Wrong Time type of thing. Actually, it was the Wrong Drink. Worst part was, it wasn't even meant for him. But when the guy figured out he'd roofie'd the wrong kid, well - might as well get something out of it, right? And for some sick reason, that made him feel worse, that he wasn't the intended target. That he was some kind of second class, even for a sick fuck like that. From there, it was all downhill.

So he's stuck in that chair, dreading the moment his new therapist opened the door.

"Only have one friend." Stiles points out, closing his eyes and just...relaxing for the first time in ages.

"You can make more in time." Peter assures him with a small smile. He can feel the boy relax in his arm and he smiles a bit more. His hand involuntarily slips on Stiles' nape. "Please try to hug others too, Stiles. It's doing you good as you can see."

"You're a good hugger. You're a therapist, you're supposed to be." Stiles mumbles, nuzzling against Peter's shoulder. That hand feels nice. Comforting, safe...

"That doesn't mean I'm the only one you can hug." Peter chuckles. "And it's actually not in my job description to give good hugs." he adds as Stiles nuzzles against him. This is dangerous, it makes Peter want more.

"Totally in your job description," Stiles hums and curls his legs up against Peter. "Thank you, for this. For everything you've done for me."

[burnedwolf]

Peter just sighs with a smile, squeezing Stiles a little.

"You don't need to thank me." he mutters, knowing Stiles is just overwhelmed. But who wouldn't be? "I'm happy I can help you and you don't think it's bullshit anymore." he adds amused.

"…there's still a little bullshit involved, I mean come on." Stiles teases softly, closing his eyes. He's more relaxed than he's been in a whir.

Peter feels the boy relax and he can't help teasing back. He almost raises his hand to stroke Stiles' cheek, but he catches himself the last second.

"Exactly what part do you think is bullshit?" he asks with a sigh, pulling back a little to look into Stiles' face.

"I'm paying you to spend time with me." Stiles makes a face, snuggling tightly into Peter.

[burnedwolf]

"No Stiles. Your father pays me to heal you after an attack." Peter corrects him quietly. "And it's working, you can tell it too."

"I know it's working. But you're like...whoring out hugs." Stiles teases.

[burnedwolf]

Peter frowns a little, but his lips are pulled into a smile.

"I refuse such accusations." he snorts. "I'm just providing you comfort."

[totallynotrobin]

"I never said it was a bad thing." Stiles winks, hugging Peter a little tighter. "Thanks."

[burnedwolf]

"You're always welcome Stiles." Peter squeezes Stiles back then slowly moves to unwrap his arms. They hugged more than they should anyway.

"Then, I will give them as rewards from now on. How does that sound?" he smirks.

"Good," Stiles nods his agreement, blushing softly and missing Peter's arms as soon as they were gone.

[burnedwolf]

"I hoped so." Peter smiles. "I hope you will work hard for your rewards." he adds, patting Stiles' shoulder.

"I will," Stiles promises, nodding seriously. "I guess - it's time for me to go."

[burnedwolf]

"Yes, it is." Peter nods with a soft smile. "Please try to hug your father or Scott. That's your homework."

[totallynotrobin]

"That's a big assignment." Stiles bites his lip nervously.

[burnedwolf]

"It's something you can do, Stiles." Peter assures him softly. "It might scare you right now, but I assure you it will help you if you can do it."

"And if I can't, I don't get any hugs at all." Stiles frownsz

[burnedwolf]

"We might postpone them, yes." Peter nods. "So please, do your homework." he smiles, tapping Stiles' nose with the tip of his finger.

"I'll...try." Stiles says, though he's still clearly worried. "Alright. Sorry, I'm over time..."

[burnedwolf]

"Please." Peter smiles. "You are, but you know you're always welcome here." he adds softly. "Call me if anything happens and work hard on your homework." he says softly.

"I will," Stiles promises, making for the door, but with a bright smile.
