Stiles is sure this was a terrible idea. Absolutely terrible. He's shaking as he sits, waiting, in the man's office. After everything that happened...he can't do this. He should leave. No - he isn leaving. He's going to walk out that door and -

But Stiles is frozen by fear. His nails are digging into his palm, jaw clenched. Move. Get up. Get out before he shows up. I'm sorry, Dr. Hale, I couldn't make it. Yeah. Sounds plausible.

It was a Wrong Place, Wrong Time type of thing. Actually, it was the Wrong Drink. Worst part was, it wasn't even meant for him. But when the guy figured out he'd roofie'd the wrong kid, well - might as well get something out of it, right? And for some sick reason, that made him feel worse, that he wasn't the intended target. That he was some kind of second class, even for a sick fuck like that. From there, it was all downhill.

So he's stuck in that chair, dreading the moment his new therapist opened the door.

"I'd like it, yes." Peter nods, eying Stiles. "But it's not necessary. If you feel too overwhelmed you can leave, but I'd like you to go back to your old routine and don't skip school."

"Yeah, well," Stiles sighs. "I wish that too."

[burnedwolf]

Peter sighs a little, smiling and looking down.

"Would you like to tell me anything that came up this week? Any thought, or feeling, or just something you want to talk about."

"Well," Stiles tries to think. "You already know about the panic attack."

[burnedwolf]

"Yes I do. But we handled that well, didn't we?" Peter smiles a little. "Anything else you'd like to mention?"

[totallynotrobin]

"Not really." Stiles admits, tilting his head. "Is there anything you want to know?"

[burnedwolf]

Peter smiles, hoping Stiles really has nothing to say and not just keeping it in.

"Well then, I actually wanted to ask you about the incident again, Stiles. Can we do that?"

[totallynotrobin]

"Alright," Stiles agrees, settling down in his chair.

[burnedwolf]

Peter licks his lips and waits a little before he speaks.

"I'd like to ask what happened after." he starts with a sigh. Still not about he incident, but only what happened after. How Stiles got home, who found him, Peter needs to know.

"I…well I…stayed where I was, for a while." Stiles starts slowly. It's supposed to be cathartic, saying it all aloud. Right? "And then I…got in my jeep."

[burnedwolf]

"Something like that." Peter answers with a slight nod. "You were alone then? And how long did you stay?" he asks quietly.

[totallynotrobin]

"He left me there alone," Stiles confirms, deadly soft. "An hour, maybe."

[burnedwolf]

"Was it because of the drug?" Peter asks with a frown.

[totallynotrobin]

"Yeah. And the pain." Stiles mutters, back to twisting his hands.

Peter nods, giving Stiles a little time.

"And when you could move and walk, somewhat, you went to your jeep and drove home?"

[totallynotrobin]

Stiles takes a deep breath and nods. Exactly what he'd done.

Peter nods too, looking at his notes.

"And when did you tell your father that something happened?"

[totallynotrobin]

"Three days after," Stiles admits quietly.

[burnedwolf]

Peter frowns.

"Three days?" he asks back, with a sigh, rubbing at his neck. "You were waiting that long?"

[totallynotrobin]

"I was freaked out," Stiles sighs. "I know I should have reported it. I knew what would happen. They'd take a DNA sample and they'd get my report and they'd go after the guy and catch him and - but all I wanted was a shower."

[burnedwolf]

"They couldn't get the sample then?" Peter asks even if he knows that the bastard who did it is still walking around. The doctor nodded. "I understand it was difficult to handle, others never even talk about it."

[totallynotrobin]

"No. I mean - sort of. They got a partial off my clothes." Stiles smiles weakly at the encouragement.

[burnedwolf]

"That's something." Peter smiles a little. "Are you alright?" he asks just in case. "Anything else you'd like to say about this?"

[totallynotrobin]

"Not really. I don't know. I just can't shake this off." Stiles shrugs a little.

[burnedwolf]

"Stiles, you don't have to 'shake it off'." Peter starts, leaning forward a little. "It's not working like that. You need to one day let it go, as much as you can, but for now it's enough to be able to talk about it." he speaks quietly.
